CAx Implementor Forum (CAx-IF) est un groupe de développeurs de logiciels et d'éditeurs travaillant sur la norme STEP ISO 10303. ITI TranscenData est membre actif de CAx-IF depuis 1999.
Chaque participant traduit un ensemble de modèles CAO de référence au format STEP Partie 21. Le fichier STEP est vérifié pour s'assurer qu'il est syntaxiquement, structurellement, et sémantiquement, correcte. Les autres participants CAx-IF téléchargent chaque fichier STEP et le traduisent à leur tour dans leur système puis lancent divers diagnostics pour vérifier la validité sémantique et la qualité des informations échangées.
