ITI TranscenData announced the release of Proficiency Collaboration Gateway 11, the latest edition of its leading Feature Based CAD Interoperability solution for manufacturers and their suppliers. Collaboration Gateway enables the transfer of complete design intelligence between major CAD systems which includes geometry, features, sketches, manufacturing info, metadata, assembly information and drawings in the conversion process.
Collaboration Gateway Version 11.0 is a major release that includes major enhancements such as new CAD systems and extend support for existing CAD system versions. A new CADIQ integration, the dedicated ITI Transcendata product for geometry comparison, has also been implemented in this release. These enhancements align Proficiency’s data exchange product suite with the current market trends and most recent requirements of our customers.
Highlights of this new release include:

- Supports parametric 3D parts and assemblies including solid and surfacing features, history, sketches, constraints and metadata.

The new version includes many other automatic data exchange feature support enhancements for I-deas, NX, Pro/E, Solid Edge, Inventor, CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 as well as more robust Collaboration Gateway Server architecture. Additional enhancements include:
- New CAD Agents : CATIA V5 R22, UG NX8, Solid Edge ST3, Solid Edge ST5 and Inventor 2011.
- Complete CADIQ integration including Job History and API.
- Project configuration support for Attribute Mapping and 2D Templates.
- Reuse mechanism extended to allow specifying source-target model pairs directly.
- Upgraded the supported version of MAX DB database to 7.8.
- Added support for new browsers Firefox and Chrome.
The new product release is available immediately worldwide and current customers can easily upgrade to version 11.
